Mini Maple Pancake Muffins

As soon as I saw these adorable mini maple pancake muffins I knew that I had to make them! So my best friend and I tried making them.

Unfortunately they didn't turn out exactly like the picture. The pan was not quite the right size and we put a little too much dough in each cup. ^^

But they were delicious anyway!!
We ended up pouring maple syrup on them while watching the Family Stone...

You can check out the recipe here. Tell me if you try making them! :)

Went for a little sunday afternoon walk through the fields...

"If the sight of blue skies fills you with joy, if a blade of grass springing up in the fields has power to move you, if the simple things in nature have a message you understand,
Rejoice, for your soul is alive." - Eleanora Duse

Favorite Lip Balms

Here are my three favorite lip balms!

Burt's Bees Honey lip balm This is the lip balm that I take everywhere with me! It's really moisturizing and is 100% natural. (and it works great under lipstick)
At some point, my lips were really chapped. I thought I had tried everything until I tried this! It healed my lips completely. It's simply amazing.

C.O. Bigelow Rose Salve I love the glossy finish it leaves on my lips! It smells really good and is moisturizing. (And I love that it's in a cute tin. It says that it's also for cuticles, elbows, face and knees!) The only inconvenient is that it isn't long lasting.

The Body Shop Papaya Lip Butter It's the creamiest, buttery and most nourishing lip balm (actually, lip butter) that I have ever tried! It's long lasting and I love the scent of it. This winter I wore it a lot when I went outside and it kept my lips moisturized for a long time.
(Unfortunately I couldn't find it on the Body Shop website, so I don't know if they still make it. But you can get the Mango Lip Butter or the Shea butter one.)

So those are my three favorite lip balms! Does anyone know of any other wonderful ones?

Let us be grateful to people who make us happy,
they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom.

Silences make the real conversations between friends.
Not the saying but the never needing to say is what counts.
Margaret Lee Runbeck

The real test of friendship is: can you literally do nothing with the other person?
Can you enjoy those moments of life that are utterly simple?
